Check how much space remains beside the bed for movement, bedside drawers and wardrobe doors. Confirm whether your quotation covers the bed frame only or includes any mattress or accessories.
Choose the headboard and upholstery together
A tall channelled headboard creates a different effect from a low, softly rounded design. Consider windows, wall sockets, switches and wall decoration behind the bed. Discuss fabric colour and texture alongside your curtains and flooring, and request the final overall height and width before agreeing the specification.
Coordinate the room without crowding it
A matching finish is useful, but each item should earn its space. Decide how much bedside storage you use and whether the dressing table needs its own seat and clear legroom. Photos from the doorway and each corner help explain the room more clearly than a single close-up.
