Floating or freestanding?
A floating dressing table can leave the floor open, but its fixing must suit the wall and the intended load. A freestanding design provides a different storage and support arrangement. Discuss the wall construction, available width, seating clearance and location of sockets before deciding.
Mirror shape and useful light
Round, oval and tall mirrors change the balance of the wall. Consider your seated eye level, the mirror’s reflection and daylight from nearby windows. If you want integrated mirror lighting, confirm its specification, switch location and electrical installation requirements. Decorative lighting in a reference image is not automatically part of the quotation.
Make the drawers work for you
List the items you want to store, including taller bottles, small accessories and styling tools. Allow enough drawer depth and space to pull the seat away from the table. Share the table width you can accommodate, your mirror preference and the finish you want to coordinate with the room.
